LOL wtf? This has to be an error.

So basically if you don't buy their DLC, you are no longer able to do the weekly playlists. Which, by the way, is pretty much the only guaranteed way to get engrams and strange coins to buy new gear and level your stuff up.

Which leaves non-DLC owners only one option for guaranteed engrams: complete strikes. But Bungie cockblocks them there too, as now engrams are only guaranteed rewards on a DLC-exclusive difficulty setting.

Essentially non-DLC owners are now left to earn the hardest to obtain materials and drops by complete and utter chance. This really is probably the lowest I have seen a developer/publisher sink in terms of DLC. I mean, this is something that would have made EA look away even in EA's worst days.

I hold out hope this is some error and will be fixed. Even if its something where they rotate the big weekly playlists and this week is DLC exclusive, that's real fucking shitty.

Capcom, is that you?

I'm so done with Destiny. I actually kind of liked it when it came out, but it's just not fun any more.

You can still do strikes. They do a "heroic" weekly strike, and this week the weekly strike is the one that just released. Next week it won't be. Since there are only like 6 strikes, they probably won't be able to do the weekly strike once every 6 weeks or so.

I was willing to give Bungie another chance with Destiny 2 after they'd heard the feedback from the gamers. Not anymore.

All of my interest in Bungie is gone at this point.

I know they do weekly strikes. I have a level 30 Warlock but stopped playing as soon as I hit 30. It's still shit, even if they rotate weekly. Next week it could be another DLC strike. Either way the strike playlists is a huge way to earn engrams, drops, and strange coins. Non-DLC owners are fucked now.

It seems to be getting worse and worse as Bungie fiddles around and tweaks the settings post release. It's like they are actively trying to get people to play less, all the while making it take more time to be rewarded for anything. I am very interested in seeing what kind of legs the community on the game has.

I'm also pretty much blowing off buying any other Destiny games, too.

The Weekly Strikes and Nightfalls will be the DLC strikes/raids/missions sometimes, now. You can't do those if you don't have the DLC. Dark Below doesn't make it so you can't play what you've already paid for. It's just that when the weekly strike is a DLC strike and you don't have the DLC..you get the picture, right?

Took me a minute to understand that, as I was on /r/DestinyTheGame, /r/PS4, and /r/XboxOne and every thread saying "you can't play strikes unless you get DLC" was labeled "misleading" by the mods in those subreddits.

They're fucked because they can't get an engram every 6th week?  There's only one DLC strike currently, so it won't be DLC again next week (or for awhile).  And you only get rewards the first time you do it.

My biggest problem with the game is that if you don't have a bunch of friends who can play at the same time as you that you can't do a lot of the game.  I'm 36.  I only have 2 friends that own PS4s and neither own Destiny.  Apparently I'm supposed to go on message boards to find people to do raids and strikes with.  Why are they trying to make it harder for me?  You can't even finish the story in the DLC unless you do the raid.  So I'll probably never get to see the ending.

They want to believe their raids are so hard that you can only complete them with a group of close friends using amazing communication, so no matchmaking.

The reality is anyone who can watch a YT video of it being run through can then go and beat them without saying a word.

Destiny was removed from my HD awhile ago. This just insures it never gets installed again, I am sorry I bought it. 2014 game regret of the year.
