Blame Sony, they abandoned the Vita. Its a slap in the face of everyone who had trust in Sony.

You're in the 10% of people who have played them, who don't think they're the best. So yeah fair point, you didn't say you don't like them, but damn, Tearaway is incredible. If it had, had a RARE logo in the late 90s, it would have been up there with Goldeneye and Banjo Kazooie.

Can you really say that you're part of the 10% when you haven't played some of the best exclusives? He didn't say, "anyone who has ever owned a ps console".

Take me for example. Had he made a similar claim about Ninty exclusives, I wouldn't say I'm part of the 10%, because even though I've had several ninty consoles I haven't played nearly enough exclusives to form a proper opinion. For all I know Zelda is better than Gravity Rush. But I haven't tried it, even though I could and still can (since I own a wii and a 3ds) so I'm not part of that 10% (despite having played several Ninty games).

there is a wealth of great software for the Vita, so Sony did their job (nobody expected them to focus all their devs on it like Nintendo did for DS and 3DS - they didn't do so with the PSP either, because in the gaming space they are a home console company first), but the standalone portable console market can't support 2 devices anymore

normal people prefer versatile devices (like the decline of cameras showed before) and smartphone gaming is good enough for the majority, so they see no reason to buy a dedicated gaming device and carry that one around aswell

Vita deserves it's sales. There isn't much point in most consumers purchasing Vita. The point of a dedicated games machine is high quality software made for the device. Vita doesn't get that outside of Japan. Even in Japan it doesn't get the biggest or best software.

happy to read that OP, i haven't bought a vita because i don't like handhelds (i cant stand the small screen,) but now that the PS VITA TV is coming to the west as the PlayStation TV... well lets say i already pre ordered the thing and when i get it, im gonna play P4G, GOD EATER 2, FREEDOM WARS, SWORD ART ONLINE, TOUKIDEN, etc.
