+Great atmosphere that will bring you both awe and shock
+Gameplay mechanics are great, unique  and gives you a variety of skills and abilities for a FPS genre game
+Multiple Endings based on a morale decision you make within the game

Cons
-Music  is forgettable or not even noticeable majority of the game
-Visuals at certain points in the game look like they are from the 6th gen rather than the 7th gen which Bioshock is from.
-Not much replay value

The original BioShock is powered by both Unreal Engine 2.5 and 3, which is why it looks pretty bad at certain points!

Oh I see, those splicer models looked horrible after death XD.

Also some of the environment debris and items looked out of place lol.

Also dem water effects :O

They were old school xD!

I am glad to see that this game got a low score by Basil standards. A lot of the praise it got and still gets stems from the fact that hardly anybody else tried to make a deep FPS. Not that it is particularly deep to begin with. Stage by stage progression, individual stages being fairly small, a lot of things you can ignore entirely because the difficulty in general is low, more or less straightforward objectives.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

I agree.. Games from around that period of time like Gears of War have aged much better!

Its not that low of a score :O!

I found Infinite to be a much more amazing experience though from the little bit I played of it (and that was a few hours actually lol). The whole underwater city and bleak environment was kind of a personal turn off for me but it was still a unique experience lol. I do agree that the stages were small - I ended up exploring the whole area even before going to certain areas when I was suppose to XD.

At least the game wasnt a fetch quest like Borderlands was.

Also dat last boss l0l.
