A friend of mine grew up playing only xbox and I managed to convince him to buy his first non MS console.I wasn't even trying to, all I had to do was let him play GT6 and the next day he went and brought a PS3 after bagging the franchise and console for years he finally admitted to me he'd never tried either. I knew he'd love GT6 since Forza is his favourite game.

Anyone else have similar stories?

My GF. She had a 360 and I introduced her to the PS3 and LBP and she sold her Xbox within a week and never looked back. (She owns a PS3 and 4 now lol)

I've never cared or bothered.

I just let it be.

Don't have friends that you want to game with?

Destroyed my friend in Halo 3 1v1 so many times he bought a PS3 and never came back to Xbox Live. Does that count?

I guess xD

I had a friend who only played a Wii, only played Nintendo games as well. Brought over my 360 and he pretty much got addicted to the achievements and games like GTA 4. Now he's got a pretty impressive game list, loves hack and slash, like Devil May Cry, and Bayonetta and never touched his Wii again.

I went to 360 cause the PS3 was too expensive at the time then went back to PS4.

Oh yeah, I know many people who switched from Wii and it became a dust collector/console the little siblings or cousins would ask to play
