So at least once a week I like to visit new and used game stores to find some great deals or hidden gems.

I figure I can't be the only one. There must be some other bargain bin burrowers and retrograde researchers around the forums.

This thread is a place to post photos and experiences about your recent purchases, whether used or new. How long did you look? Where can others find the best deals? How much was it? Did you find it in a big-box store or in a garage sale down the street?

Post away!

So here's my first entry:

Picked these up at a local used movie/music/game store. I never owned/played the original Resident Evil (just the GCN remake), so I thought I'd snatch it up. Same goes for Rebel Strike and Chibi-Robo, the latter being the most expensive but still less pricey than copies on Amazon and eBay.

Nice pick up. I wouldn't mind owning those 2 GC games (never played them either). Didn't even realize they had a Rogue Squadron 3. Played the second one (launch game) and it was pretty fun (and bad ass looking for a launch game).

I picked up The Witcher 1 and 2 through a Steam sale recently (under 5 dollars for both games). Played a little of the first one and enjoyed it so far.  I haven't really picked up any old games recently (I like buying new but if it is really old then I don't mind buying used).

I used to have Rebel Strike; it's pretty good for a GC game.
Earlier I picked up CoD 4: Modern Warfare for about 5 dollars for PS3, haven't played it yet but I will.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

5 dollars...  Gamestop must have given the person that sold it 50 cents.

90% of my 360's collection has been grabbing things from the bargain bin xD

No pics right now, but one of the sweetest deals I've ever seen (not bought, though) is Uncharted 3 Collector's Edition at 3,95 euros.

That's a hell of a deal. I kind of wish I had known more about Uncharted when it first came out. I'm only now going through the series, long after the collector's edition(s) hit the market.

Rogue Squadron II was damn impressive technically. I replayed it recently and it was still a knockout. Factor 5 really knew what it was doing.

I picked up The Witcher 1 on Steam recently, too. I really want to get into that series. It looks like a lot of fun :)
