But it's still funny how people only use UK as comparison. It's mind blowing how bad XO is selling in continental Europe (whole Europe minus UK) - it sold mindwhooping 6370 units this week in whole continent of hundred million people. This is incredibly low amount, less than Wii U.

In week ending 1st march, in which XO won USA and UK, PS4 sold 35k units in continental Europe, and XO sold 6k. This is almost 6x more.

As of buying advice, look for games, nothing more. Choose best for you and get that console. If you like multiplats, buy PS4, because they better on that console.

Amazon UK have no PS4 till next friday, and US Amazon have been out of stock the last 4 days so they may be gone again soon, glad US seems to be getting regular shipments now tho.

Yeah look at the games, see if you like any of them. It was infamous that made up my mind, and knowing the fact that Sony will produce great first party games made my choice easier. As a former Nintendo and MS supporter, both really let me down in late console support.

Wait at least till this holiday season and pick up a deal. PS4 doesn't have any compelling software for me personally, so it's pointless for me to pick it up for its full price tag. And Xbox is a bit overpriced, but the titanfall bundle offers a better deal. I will probably get a PS4 this or next holiday, with the bundle and likely holiday price drop.

Besides, sales are not going to make any difference at all, both of these consoles will be supported equally by third parties, so just judge it by first parties.

Buying a mid-range PC is still a better option imo, they have some sweet offers on release of games at some online retailers, and the games are about 30% cheaper and in most cases superior versions, of course can't really compare to a console, but that can be arranged with a proper set up.

March is supposed to be the best month for MS. What I see is that even with Titanfall soon and UK pricecut, Xbone got outsold by a margin by PS4 globally.

if so, buy a PS4 because is squashing its competitors in the Global.

Or, maybe you should buy a console for the exclusive games you prefer, right ?  Also, are you surprised that One sold a bit more in UK after a price cut ?
