Cate Archer from No One Lives Forever is the best female protagonist ever! Ok, maybe it's more about the setting, humor, and gameplay than Cate but I loved that game. The bad guys had the most intellectual yet humorous discussions. They'd be talking science, politics, and even ethics while Cate was sneaking around. Good times.

Man, but gaming is not what it used to be :(
