I quite like the look of this game, because they've been playing up the character-focused stuff which has easily been the best part of Persona 3 that I've been playing so far.

But there's a surprising lack of gameplay. I wonder if they're trying to disguise the fact that it's a first person(a) dungeon crawler. Or maybe that wasn't the purpose of these videos, I guess.

Isn't it supossed to be like Etrian Odyssey? If that's the case there's not a lot to show to be honest.

But Etrian Odyssey trailers seem to include gameplay, and they're exactly like Etrian Odyssey games :P

My point was, at least from these trailers, they seem to be advertising it as:

PERSONA OMG JUNPEI LOOK OVER THERE IT'S TEDDY!!!

P.S. There's some first person dungeon crawling.

I suppose that's a smart move though, because they'll get more sales that way.

Seen gameplay of it, im not into that particular style (i think etrian odyessy and some SMT games play same way), i'll just wait to get Persona 4 Golden.

Well yes, you are right, dungeon crawlers aren't exactly popular so masking the game that way makes sense!

It doesn't matter how it compares, sales=/=Quality. Im saying it might have a chance, being on a new platform and all.

What would be hilarious about it? I don't think it would be too surprising tbh (Persona 4 Golden has greatly raised the profile of Persona but was on a system not many people have) and would show that their effects to make Persona a bigger IP are starting to pay off.

It would certainly make it pretty much the best selling Persona RPG game to date if it did. Though whether that is a good thing I'm not so sure.
