Well... What i will say is pretty obvious. The wii was the most sold console in japan, but why? The graphics sucks it can not even display in HD and what about ps3, the multiplats games in the ps3 look inferior compared to x360, even with that problem is the second most sold console...what is xbox360?

What i am trying to say is that i respect people who choose a console based on graphics but i praise whom choose a console based on the games and the fun they can provide and that is why i salute the japoneses!

And about you? What you value most in a console?

There are some pretty good games out there that Japanese players dont buy

Its really just specific franchises and types of games that the japanese love

But they don't buy a console because the game that they want to play is "true" HD or have solid 60 fps

really only non gamers would value graphics over gameplay

It's part true, but gameplay isn't always the most important thing to them. They just have a different taste compared to the rest of the world.

I think it's dangerous stereotyping an entire population, even if it's complimentary. There are fans with good taste and lousy taste on every continent.

That being said, gameplay is king.

I wouldn't say that it's worse but I can't see exactly how it's better. It's just different.

The Wii was the best console everywhere (until very recently), so that point is just awful (at least in comparison to other regions).
