Forums - Sony Discussion - Final Fantasy X/X-2 gets a release date in North American and Europe.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster won't reach North America and Europe until March 2014, and that date is for the PS3 version only. As it stands, the PS3 HD compilation of the two RPGs hits North America on March 18, 2014, and then Europe three days later on March 21.

We've reached out to Square Enix about the Vita version, which like the PS3 version was originally due in the west later this year. Square Enix's website for the game still lists it for Vita, but today's announcements specify the PS3 version only. Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is due on both PS3 and Vita in Japan next month, on December 26.

Update: We've received a press release from Square Enix Europe, and it notes: "Full details of the PlayStation Vita version and release timing will be revealed at a future date."

Lock if old by the way.

Actually since there is no actual news about the Vita, it is a dupe thread. Not much love for the other thread though.

Have you seen the new trailer and screenshots released? It seems they've done even more work on it, than we previously saw, both Wakka and Auron look great, they've messed with Tidus' hair and face again (The hair actually looks worse than the first change they made in my opinion, it's too... blocky, lol), but then some characters really do look meh, such as Biran and Yenke Ronso, but I guess they only put effort into where it's needed, lol.

Either way, the delay doesn't bother me, I'll have games to play until then, and when it finally comes out, I'm going to no life the fuck out of it until I've got the platinum trophy on X, maybe X-2 depending on the trophy list, I just hope it doesn't have trophies for all the endings...

I hate the delay. Maybe i'm too old for games in general but i really hope to get sucked into a game again like FF X did. It was the last game i actually loved i think (slightly intoxicated now). Everything after was pooo compared to old (j)rpg's.  So i can't wait to play it again but they've taken way too long to finish the game.

The biggest thing for me is that there's shown footage of last mission in English. I know it was previously confirmed, but I was skeptical.

So I'm quite happy.
