This might be more of a rant, but damn. I just saw the new Nintendo Direct trailer and Mario Party Island tour looks amazing! Mario Party DS was also amazing, why can't Nintendo make their console Mario Party's this good? I've played a bit of Mario Party 6-8, and Wii Party and they are just so odd and boring. Mario Party: IT looks like the same quality games Mario Party 1 & 2 were.

Nintendo, port Mario Party Island Tour for the WiiU!

Well I think it looks really cool but I don't mind if it's on Wii U or the 3DS! As long as it's a good MArio Party game I'm sold xD.

But don't you play MP with friends? It's weird playing Mario Party on a handheld with friends, and most of my friends don't own a 3DS. I largely prefer console Mario Party's, and I wish Nintendo would make an Island Tour quality MP game on the WiiU. that......that could really convince me to buy a WiiU sooner rather then later.

Yeah I do! I play a lot local multiplayer! But my other friends have a 3DS so it's not really a problem. Maybe they could offer the 3DS game as a download for the Wii U! But I think they will release a Mario Party for the Wii U in the future so we will just have to wait for that, it could be along wait though xD.

I don't like Mario Party games they can be fun to rent and play with friends, but I will never buy one.

Ever since Mario Party 9, the boards have been pretty lame, so I'm not a fan of the modern ones. At least the minigames look fun!

I love boardgames, and MP is a digital boardgame. Lots of fun with friends. Wish I had 4 friends with 3/DS's to play the handheld ones. 8 Kind of sucked especially in the board design one board was a straight line, and the game didnt support proper widescreen. Just bought 9 today hope to get friends in on a snowy night to play.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Yea, I guess my rant is that Console Mario Party's suck now. Why can't they give the same map layouts, mini-games, and feel of Island Tour and MP DS on a console game? I would like to upgrade from Mario Party 2 at some point, but there hasn't been a better console MP since.

Ever since 9? 2 had the best boards, and since then it's been downhill, with a huge drop after MP4.

BTW I recently played Mario Party 3.... It's TERRIBLE! MP1 & 2 seem to be the only good ones other then DS and IT.
