Forums - Microsoft - Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes free on Xbox Live in October

By far my favourite franchise of all time and a brilliant spin off, but isn't a bit old? I remember playing the ps3 version at least two years ago. I'm curious as to how Sony can offer huge recent games for "free" and MS hasn't so far. I'm sure they have a great relationship with many 3rd parties, so this is definitely puzzling.

Oh well, to anyone who hasn't played it in the past, have fun! It's an awesome game, so I'm happy for you.

Speechless. Another rubbish game nobody will even bother downloading.

Finally, another game that I haven't played lol. This will be the second free game that I will get from the games for gold thing.

BTW to anyone who has played it. Is it good? What's it like?

What?  I have the game on the DS and it is a pretty fun game.  I actually played through the entire game within a couple of days (which doesn't happen that often with me considering I get bored of a game and put it down before finishing lately, or play games that never end).  It is a decent strategy game with an unique twist and anyone that likes strategy games will probably enjoy this game.

i think its due to the fact that with ps+ that is what it was but with gold the money is already being used for other things

Excellent game, you guys got a good one. I've beaten it twice and will probably play through it again eventually.

It has an RPG story that follows five young characters who are split apart when demons attack but the combat is tactical.  You have units lined up across from one another that use different abilities and take time to 'charge'.  What keeps it from being tedious is that each of the characters assembles different types of units for their army.  One has elves, another humans, another has undead, and so on.

I really, really wish there was a sequel, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

The timing of this is interesting, considering Capy has recently come out in support of Microsoft.

Now this is a game I will be downloading!

Never heard of it hopefully it's good.

So it's basically turn based correct?

Either way, it sounds like a fun game for sure.

Sounds a bit like Dragon Force on the Saturn. If so I will definately pick it up.
