Pay to win! Wooooo!
Seriously, meh. It's fine in Mass Effect as it is not competitive, but this is one of the many reasons why I haven't played Ultimate Team

true, i dont mind microtransactions in games like these if they dont effect the competitive aspect. if its for things like new armour, skins and stuff like that AND you can unlock it through XD or simply playing the game then i dont see a problem. the devs get more money (and complain less about second hand games) and the game is really just the same but with the option of opening up stuff early if you are willing to pay a few bucks

I expect micro transaction to be a lot more common in the 8th gen. Just look how common DLC became in the 7th gen.

This kind of microtransactions are okay I guess. The game stays the same and everything is still unlockable through normal play, now there's just a new option for rich / unpatient people.
The great launch line-up keeps looking worse by the day... this is why i wont buy another Microsoft system. Those people are not worried about creating good games, they are worried about how to extort the most money off our wallets. Microsoft just never changes, as much as they do 180's, their true intent is clear as water.

how is P2W if you can have exactly the same outcome grinding.... the essence of P2W is that only if you spit cash you can access to the highest/best content or final stage of a game.... his is not the case.....

how so ??? microtransaction is the fastest most profitable business model in the VG market today
and how is it MS... since when Crytek is an MS studio ????
this model will be quite usual on all consoles sooner than later....

We already had this in this gen, I remember Tales where you could instant level up 5-15 levels for some cash.
