Theses analysts... lol

BOSTON, July 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Sony's PS4 will have the edge over Microsoft's Xbox One in the new games console battle which will erupt later this year according to feedback from Strategy Analytics' latest ConsumerMetrix survey. According to the report, "Games Consoles: Purchase Intention Index Q2 2013", 14.2 percent of consumers are very or somewhat likely to buy a PS4 within the next twelve months compared to 9.5 percent who will buy an Xbox One. If the results were reflected in sales data this would imply that sales of PS4s would be nearly fifty percent higher than Xbox One. The survey interviewed a representative population sample of more than 6000 respondents across the US and Europe in June 2013.

This won't be too evident at first, but if and when PS4 develops a much larger player base vs XB1, third parties, as well as Sony's second-to-none first party, will be using the console to it's fullest a few years down the road, and games on the system will just blow other consoles out of the water.

Is that how hard it is to be an analyst lol...... anyone one would see the PS4 has a clear advantage for being the better console for the price. PS4 purchase == Naughty Dog landing strip;

I just pray they use the extra power.  I really want even third party devs to use that GPU to its fullest.  I mean I can understand why they wouldn't want to use Cell but with PS4's PC architecture and not trying to use a CPU to boost graphics we should have them upscale stuff like FPS on PS4 versions.  Since they won't want to add extra stuff to PS4 versions so as to keep MS happy I'm hoping they just give us PS4 gamers 60fps on most 3rd party games that would be awesome.

Sorry, but we need Pachter's opinion before accepting some random analyst's word!
