So, I'm making this thread because of a discussion that was started in this thread.  

So, the question is would you want a Jade Empire 2?  Did you like the game?  Was the original overrated or underrated?  

The original was very overrated and nobody really want's a sequel for it.

One mans opinion equals nobody really wants it ?
I for one wouldn't mind a sequel but I don't think that means everybody does .

It is a game that even though i personally loved it , looking back it didn't seem to  have that special something to make it to classic status , and that is precisely the reason i think it a good candidate for a sequel , you have a good game with room for improvement and that excites me more than  being in the unenviable position of trying to create a sequel to another old  game that is universally acclaimed , still that alone isn't enough if there isn't something worthwhile to work with but in Jade Empires case it was a great concept using a  source rich in mythology so the potential is there.

That is a very easy statement to prove false, as I would really want it

Also, I would argue the game was very underrated.  The fact that it is one of the few original xbox games that are available on xbox live proves that the game has a following!

I was half way through and while it was good because of the developer, it was really underwhelming, especially compared to their other work. Never did finish it yet.

did you ever get to the twist?

Only because one person mentioned it as a possible "dream" launch game for the 720 doesn't proof that people actually want it either.  Anyway Bioware has moved on to bigger and better thinks with Mass Effect so I doubt they will revive Jade Empire.

Beat it in the good old teenage pimple popping days.

And i would love a sequel.

that doesn't mean EA can't hand the IP off to another developer...

Uh.....honestly have no idea. I was fighting some zombie like things or possessed people and there was something going on ancient like wise or...I don't know. Souls. Something. Not really sure if I'm going to pick up where I left off. I have a lot of games.
