Valve is number one? No surprise.

In every company on earth you will find at least one person who didn't like it hated it for one reason or another. The only sample that would actually show conclusive results would be a large sample of employees from all departments. There are probably grains of truth in most of these, but that's about it.

Sounds like Valve is the Google or Pixar of the Game development world. Good for them.

Surprised that Reggie has such a comparatively high rating...then again maybe not. All of them have similar problems, really - except Valve, but everyone knows that's an awesome place to work

Seems like similar problems existing in many of the companies. Lack of direction, politics, bureaucracy, low wages and long hours- the average joe simply feeling overlooked and not getting his due.

I'm not sure what to make of it, many of the reports all sound so similar.There will always be a few people who just don't fit into a specific work environment, especially in a profession like game development that can attract a lot of people with low social skills.
