Forums - Gaming - GTA 5 two new screenshots - 'our biggest open world game to date' - more info coming soon, says Rockstar

"We are very busy working on the game! Everything is going well, but the game is a huge project. We should have more information and some new assets for you soon," said Rockstar in the latest Asked & Answered.

Rockstar added: "As we have said before, we have often had long gaps between asset releases on previous games and will continue to do so in the future. We are sorry if you find this frustrating, but please understand, we don't do this because we 'don't care about our fans' 'don't respect our fans' 'hate GTA fans etc' – precisely the opposite! We do it because we want to make sure we only release 100% correct information, and because we want to keep plenty back for the actual game release so there are still lots of surprises when you play it.

"The only things we care about are that you enjoy the experience of actually playing the game and that we release accurate information. We just have not been in a position to show more of the game than the trailer and will not be for a while yet."

Rockstar says it will "try and get some more screens for you soon and then another trailer when we are ready."

They better be. Have you gone back and played it recently? Looks really unclean and blurry.

The PC version is, I think the console versions aren't as bad...

Anyway, so pumped for this game! Hopefully the fact it's set in San Andreas will return it to a game like San Andreas, as opposed to IV...

I recently watched my friend play the PS3 version on his 40" 1080p TV and it looks like trash. That being said, good graphics really aren't important. I hope GTAV is actually entertaining unlike the dreadful chore that was GTAIV.

Believe me, it looked worse on the PC, but that's another matter.

GTA was never a series to do with graphics. Remember Vice City? GTA III? They looked like crap, but both were much better than IV. San Andreas looked better, but not a huge amount.

Man, this game will consume me for many a hour. Can't wait!

What a way to end this gen, looks like it's going to be stunning. This is one of those rare games that almost everybody enjoys.
