SEGA today confirmed it is delaying the release of Aliens: Colonial Marines until 2013. The good news is the game finally has a release date!

Aliens: Colonial Marines now ships on February 12, 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The planned Wii U version will have its release date announced at a later time.

“I am thrilled to announce the definitive launch date for Aliens: Colonial Marines,” said Randy Pitchford, President of Gearbox Software. “Aliens: Colonial Marines is the culmination of a life-time of inspiration from the films and relentless passion and drive from the exceptionally talented development team behind the scenes."

I actually hope this is delayed on PS360 because theyre giving the Wii U a timed exclusive release.

While it's unlikely to be true (Wouldn't make much sense) if GBX tried this I would just not buy the game outright, I've been waiting for this for close to 6 years when it finally releases! :/

Now it joins Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider...is this a hint at a deadly Halo 4/Call of Duty/GTA 5 combination?

But Nintendo fans don't care about graphics no? Oh that's right, that's until the competition comes out with their consoles  :P 

and don't expect a multiplat which is shared with current gen consoles to look leaps ahead on the WiiU. They will be very very comparable unless I'm missing some information here (haven't really followed this game much :S Why is this one even hyped? Honest question here cuz I have no idea)
