so i just brought a Wii :D

it was only £32 so i thought.. HELL why not!

my first Game will be Super smash Brothers Brawl i think, what other games should i buy or look out for?

i want ALL the mario games out for Wii actually (im a closet fan) so a list would be great. plus i always wanted to play Pokemon, is there a good pokemon game on Wii or is that limited to DS?

im not a massive fan or JRPG's or anything but if there is something REALLY good i may buy it.

thanks Nintendo fans! i hope this is the start or a long relationship

No Pokemon games

Buy Little Kings Story

If you like Mario you should get New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 ASAP! Get Donkey Kong Country Returns if you want more sidescrolling platformer goodness.

I'd look out for Metroid Prime Trilogy, especially if you never played Metroid Prime on Gamecube.

Xenoblade Chronicles is a JRPG but really, really good and well worth a try.

Well purchase, man. If you like Mario, you'll love the Wii. As for Pokemon, there's Pokemon Battle Revolution, it's kinda like Pokemon Stadium for the N64.

You should get ExciteTruck, because it's a great arcade racer. Ridiculously long and high jumps and transforming landscapes are just crazy awesome.

Not going to mention anything else, because others will do that anyway.

really? i may take a look at that. i do like over the top racers

No, the Wii has built in memory, but it's recommended you get an SD for the Virtual Console games. They barely take space, but it's nice to have it all in one place. SD cards are cheap.

If you ever bought PS1 games off of the PSN, it's basically the same thing. However, the Virtual Console includes NES, SNES, and N64(priced $5, $8, and $10). You can use a credit card(deposits are set to $10, $20, $30, and $50) or a Nintendo $20 prepaid card in stores. Also includes third party console games such as Genesis, Master System, Turbografx 16, Neo Geo, and Commodore 64(don't know the prices, but none are higher than $10.)

Certain games require the use of the Classic Controller(SNES and N64), which is $20 and is used(but not required) for Wii games such as Monster Hunter Tri and Xenoblade.

Good purchase m8,im a nintendo fan thats recently purchased a PS3 and im loving it.(dont do fanboyism i just love great games).Anyways you cant go wrong with trying out each of the zelda games on Wii and red steel 2 is worth a mention too.It goes without saying that mario galaxy 1&2 are must have games if you want Mario, however you may find the mario/sonic olympic tie ins a little too casual unless you are looking for fun in quick bursts.
