Great score for a XBLA game.

I am. It could as well gotten a 7.0.

8.0 for a $10 Live Arcade game is solid. If it was on PSN I would buy it.

Opposite direction of what I hoped it would go in after reading the review, but I kinda expected that already.

Still hoping for a more open world Alan Wake 2 with emphasis on suspense instead of action.

Hmmm. Even though I haven't played the game, I think what most people want to see is another full-fledged Alan Wake game. Then again, it never got the sales it deserved, maybe their scared to gamble on it again.

Still, an 8 is a great score, well deserved from what I read.

on a side topic,is alan wake on PC,becuase i thought i saw it was coming pretty soon,maybe it has been on pc for ages or i am imagining everything,but i will defo get alan wake for my pc if i am correct

Fair review. Little disappointed it won't have the same atmosphere as the main game but seems perfect for an XBLA game.

Have to question the 8.5 for graphics though. They say it is on par with the original which is a disc based full retail release game and one of the best looking this generation. Surely for an XBLA game to be in their words ''on par'' it can't get much better?
