I bet you Nintendo puts out Super Mario All-Stars HD for the Wii U at some point... a remaster of the original 16-bit remasters with HD graphics. They've already milked the original versions of these games dry at this point, so this is the next logical step for them.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Around the Network

Well yes I was aware the thread is manly about selling these collections to Nintendo Wii owners. Again it would be a waste of money many of the Wii owners who wanted to play third party titles bought at least one of. The HD twins.

If they were lucky the collection could muster 500k in sales. If WiiU sells well but in doing so not only would they be wasting money upgrading the game for WiiU marketing distribution etc..etc.. they would be mossing an opportunity to launch new IP. THQ and Ubisoft both have stated the beginning of the new generation is the best time to launch new IP. If you waste your resources porting old IP and miss Tue chance to establish new million selling IP it is a horrible loss. The collections would not he good for Nintendo either they would hurt software sales for newer games.

Honestly I would have to say bringing collections or ports of any game not launching this year is a massive waste of resources. If you are a gamer who wants to play Mass Effect pick up a 360 and play Mass Effect. Simply put it is not in Nintendo's best interest to have collections within the launch year if at all. Nor is it our best interest I don't know about you but I would much rather be playing a new IP from BioWare or Ubisoft or THQ then an old 360 port any day. As a consumer we want new products the old collections would not help us get the next big IP.
