A YouTube user by the name of frwololo posted a video showing the Half Byte Loader running the Picodrive Sega Genesis emulator on the PS Vita.

How this hack was done is still a unknown, but this kind of secret does not stay secret for long.

This will give gamers even more reason to buy a PSVita, if they can run retro games on it.

Could this be a online viral campaign by Sony, to increase interest in their PSVita ???

**UPDATE**

PSVita hacked to run codes on the system without the need to modifiy the hardware.

Its in early stages but a video is provided.

Thats from Wololo so its not fake nor a viral campaign. Home they can get homebrew loaders to work without enabling pirated Vita software.

Yes it has been hacked, and codes have been ran around the PSP emulator.
Its still in the early stages but it looks promising for those want to run codes on PSVita.
