Good. I'm in the US, but it's still good news.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Hockey, maple syrup, and now this.

Go Canada!

I was pretty much assuming this would be the case when the US launch was announced, but it's good to get confirmation.

lol I knew it was coming long before any confirmation. If GameStop is going to buy the exclusive rights in the US there was no doubt they would distribute the title in Canada. Considering GameStop/EBGames dominance in Canada it only makes sense that they would bring the game north.

Not to mention NOA employees keep telling me that NOA actually runs NOC and that NOC is an over glorified repair shop and Fed Ex. I'm not joking thats exactly what an NOA employee said when I asked him how to get in touch with NOA. I of course don't believe NOC could possibly be that insignificant but if they are then something coming to the US will obviously come to Canada.

Not to mention Nintendo has always been amazing to us here in Canada. Our dollar reached parity and before any other game publisher or company would sell their games for the American prices it was Nintendo who took the lead. Nintendo has given us Canadians all kinds of deals and such, I could not see them leaving Canada out in the cold.

What is the exchange rate for Canadian money to American money now?

About 98 cents USD

At 5PM yesterday it was C$1.0169, but earlier in the day it was 1.02$. When I went Black Friday shopping it was 1.025. It has been hovering around the 1.02 mark for a while, though earlier this year when the dollar took a hit I believe it got down to .94 but it didn't stay there long. When Nintendo changed the prices to parity the dollar was almost 1.04, considering how strong the Canadian Dollar has been these last few years selling at less then parity is just wrong.

Also you need to remember prior to the industry sellingat a parity some games sold up to 20$ more in Canada and Nintendo always sold at least 10$ more. I member Wii launching at 279.99$ while American's got it at 250$ the difference in exchange rates at worst is 6 cents but most of the time it fluctuates between 4 cents or so with Canada's dollar often beating the American dollar.

I was so happy when Nintendo took the first move to price match. I bet that it helped their business in Canada!
