Forums - Gaming Discussion - Activision acting with a vengeance!

Tagged games:

Well we all know a leaked copy of disk two of Modern Warfare 3 has made its way to the internet. Pirates all over and stealing the game as we speak to get some early hands on time with it. But rest assured Activision is watching and they are hunting everyone who pirates MW3 and they will find you.

Reports have come in that Activision is actually showing up at people's door steps who pirated or bought a pirated copy of Modern Warfare 3. They are then demanding the person delete the data immediatly and destroy the illegal copy or face a 5,000$ fine and ban from playing Modern Warfare 3 online once it is released.

A pirate selling product on Craigslist sent out a disturbing message. “they will come get you.” “you will be fined $5,000″and banned from online play “I already went through it.”

I am glad I started my Activision ban and I don't think I will miss Blizzard games anymore. I just have to remember what piece of shit company owns Blizzard.

I don't get how people can grab the games from the warehouse. Obviously it must be doable since every single game is able to be pirated. Crack down at the warehouse somehow to prevent this from happening.

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

Damn you.. you should have made your thread more intressting.. like "Activision Strikes Back" or "Revenge of the Kotick"

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Imagine if that was true and they went to the door steps of millions of people from all around the world just to ask them to delete their pirated game or pay a 5000 US dollars fine.

Tracking down each one of them and travelling all around the world to do it would take them a loooong time and cost them more money than just leaving them alone.

I can't see how they could track them either :P

A banner stolen from some site xD

Release Final Fantasy Versus XIII nowwwwwwwwww!!! lol :P

This story is SO FAKE and taking advantage of the COD-hate/BF fanboys.
If you took a second to look at the biggest torrent sites you'd see that there is no Modern Warfare 3 torrent.

When was it announced that Modern Warfare 3 was shipping on 2 discs? I seem to have missed that.

I already have the game and it runs fine, there is no way for Activision to know I have the game and there is no way for them to fine me.

2 discs on the Wii.  While you play the Wii version online you have to load the 2nd disc in during the middle of the match.

better then EA doing nothing
