I hope Reggie is watching this and realizing maybe these titles that he constantly thinks won't sell in North America just might have what it takes to sell alot. I mean titles like BattalionWars sold less and Nintendo kept pumping them out. Advance Wars sold less yet Nintendo kept pumping them out. Nintendo is hopefully taking note, maybe we'll see some of these Japanese titles brought to North America next time.

Though I doubt we will see Xenoblade brought here, by the time they can finish localizing it WiiU will be on the way. Its alittle late now but hopefully in the future Nintendo will be more open to releasing uber popular games in North America!

You're a few weeks late for this particular hype-train.
Just import the game like everybody else did...
Besides, it seems Nintendo are shifting their strategy to be more "gamer-friendly" with their newer platforms, so hopefully in the future games like this do make it worldwide.

Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!

oops, my bad.
I thought this was another localization thread
If the game really is sold out in Europe then Nintendo probably didn't ship more than 50k copies for the first run...
I hope this game's lifetime sales in EU are at least the same as in JP.

edit: just saw it did over 60k in EU so far according to Vgchartz... I wonder how big the initial shipment was, then. Probably not much less than 70k, which makes me believe it can pass 100k in sales once the second shipment makes it. Whether or not it can do 160k like in Japan remains to be seen (I'm gonna go with no for now)...
