Forums - Gaming Discussion - Is it possible to beat Child of Eden with just a standard controller?

Tagged games:

So right now i'm loving the game Child of Eden but it seems almost impossible to beat using the controller.

I can't get past the Buauty level because the curser moves to slow and I can't find a way to increase the sensitivity.

So that brings me to the question above. Is it possible to beat this game using a standard controller?

Didnt know you could use the controller.

Of course. It's also better, since you can hardly follow the music beat if you have to stand and deal with the Kinect delay.

Indeed it is, i have beat all 5 levels on both normal and hard difficulties with a controller. (non kinect owner but HUGE Rez fan here)

Hard mode is just that though.......... HARD (2 hits without finding energy regeneration and you are dead).

From what I read, its suppose to be easier with the controller.

I haven't tried it yet, but I wouldn't because if it is anything like Dead Space: Extraction without move than it gets way too hard at later stages just like you describe with Child of Eden. I was thinking the same and have not gotten the game because I thought it would be less fun and impossible like DS:E. Thanks for the heads up.

Well then is there any way I can increase the sensitivity because its far too slow for me.
