It all depends on how the game is received by Japan...but even that Dark Stalkers for PSP.

Looking at its performance,and seeing SSFIV on 3DS,until 3/04/2011 (so,even if it is at 85k now,it will probably be over the 100k now),I think it could top also 80-90k...and that wouldn't be bad,considering the modern shape of traditional fighting games in Japan

Also PS3 numbers are horrible, and wii numbers are beyond horrible. This use to be the second biggest video game market.

Pretty sure it still is.  The UK only passed it in 2008 I believe.  Have you seen the UK HW numbers for this year?  They are terrible.  To put that into perspective, you called the Wii numbers 'beyond horrible'.  For the year, Japanese Wii sales are 53% higher those in the UK.  Of course that pales in comparison to the PSP where Japan is nearly 700% higher.

excluding psp hardware all of japan is just so depressing to look at, and frankly psp hardware isn't exactly inspiring either.

This was Wii's lowest week ever and also PS3 Slim's lowest week ever. I think we might see Wii go sub 5k pretty soon.

Ugh, everything in Japan not named PSP is basically dead, and even that console isn't showing anywhere near the numbers it once did. There is no better example of a market getting sick of the stale formula of games the industry is pumping out more than Japan..

Dead or Alive Dimensions is a fighting game and fighting games aren't suited to handhelds. So I'm not surprised.

Yeah it's possible that Japan feels indifferent to the current state of the gaming industry right now.
