You might remember reports of Marvell's Armada processors a year or so back, and now speculation is going around that Nintendo's upcoming 3DS portable 3D gaming console could be powered by silicon from Marvell.

Speculation arose after the company's co-founder Sehat Sutardja claimed that approximately 15% of the sequential increase in quarterly sales was due to the initial production revenue from their Armada application processors, a result of a major customer preparing to launch a new gaming platform.

While there wasn't any specific mention of the Nintendo 3DS, there aren't too many (if any) gaming consoles that are slated to be launched soon, so all eyes are currently on Nintendo's 3DS.

i don't know anything about cpu's. how powerfull of a cpu is it?

We have already seen some screenshots from 3DS games. Being discussing hardware at this point is pointless I think, we now have an idea of the console's power.

i doubt we've seen the best the system can do. Once developers spend more time with it they will be able to do more

I think that with metal gear solid and resident evil revelations we already now that 3DS is in the same graphical league as a Wii/Xbox1

And please don't tell me there's a big difference between wii and xbox, or 3DS and Wii, or whatever. A big difference is PS2 to PS3 graphics.
