Nintendo responds to Xenoblade's localization efforts (along with Monolithsoft, Mistwalker)

in Nintendo Discussion on 27 June 2011

dark_gh0st_b0y said:yeah, we should keep on sending mails, not to mention that we want Dynamic Slash and Disaster: Day of Crysis as well as Pikmin 2 : P Honestly, it's probably better right now to focus on a these few titles than attacking Nintendo about all the games they haven't released in the last half decade and expecting them to release them all in 6-12 month...

    So....no Xenoblade?

in Nintendo Discussion on 24 June 2011

Supposedly, NoE says NoA doesn't intend on releasing it here. http://www.gonintendo.com/viewstory.php?id=161562 It's hard to say how accurate this is since; 1. I followed the source, and it traced back to a neogaf post of someone basically saying some one from France branch of Nintendo of Europe said it on TV. 2. We don't have a direct quote, so they may have not said that NoA has no...

Terrible Game that Deserves a Sequel

in Gaming Discussion on 20 June 2011

I actually never got to pick Wii Music up. Kind of want to since I found Electroplankton pretty intresting. Idk if I'd play it beyond a few hours though. ...

The Game I'm most Excited For?

in Gaming Discussion on 20 June 2011

Xenoblade. The second any Monolith Soft title is localized, it is my most anticipated title of the year lol. Even if it doesn't come here, I'll probably turn to a European copy. ...

Comparing graphics in 3D vs 2D is pointless

in Gaming Discussion on 20 June 2011

You definitely don't see the full picture, although I don't think comparing them is pointless. In OoT's case, the visuals have been improved, and people are probably more looking for differences in how the game looks. It is nice through the 3DS that we can see what games actually look like in 3D though. Kid Icarus trailer had some great depth to it when you see pit flying around. ...

Terrible Game that Deserves a Sequel

in Gaming Discussion on 20 June 2011

Not terrible, more average, but I'd like a sequel to Disaster: Day of Crisis and Dragon Quest: Swords on Wii. Probably my two favorite games on the platform. Terrible wise though, Blue Stinger or The Bouncer. ...

Adding Steam Games To Our Games Collection

in Website Topics on 13 June 2011

I think they just have a "PC" version of the game you can add, right? That's what I did with the few Steam games I decided to add. I don't buy many games on Steam, so I could have just gotten lucky and all the titles I had were listed for PC already....

Is anyone actually buying Kinect Star Wars?

in Microsoft Discussion on 13 June 2011

Yeah, PSMove or Wii Motion + sounds preferable to me. But hey, maybe you can just hold onto a PSMove or Wii Motion + while you play. It's like you're really using a controller! Still no buttons though. *fwoosh forward*...

    Which MMO do you prefer?

in Gaming Discussion on 13 June 2011

I'm a long time Final Fantasy XI fan and played it pretty much a good chunk of my late middle school and my entire high school career. I'm a bit of an old fart when it comes to it though. I'm like "I remember when!" all the time. Now the game is all casual and is built in a way to actually appeal to people. Pfffffh what business needs money when you can just make an impossibly hard and ridiculous...

The Wii is an awesome console!!

in Nintendo Discussion on 13 June 2011

The Wii might have had significantly less 'hardcore' games to play on it, but I do like that anything that was put on the console was pretty much exclusive and unique to the system. And, I'm not sure if it was due to lower dev costs, but the titles seemed to be more adventurous overall. Not the best games, but some great ones. ...

    So....no Xenoblade?

in Nintendo Discussion on 11 June 2011

To NoA's mention of Monado, the title's been on their release list for a couple of years now. They've been taking it off and putting it back on at random, but never changing the name to Xenoblade, which is weird. So this isn't exactly new information. Pretty much the last 2 E3s have been nothing but disappoints to me because of Xenoblade not being announced lol. I'm too much of a Monolith...
