I'm sure dead rising won't be a 1:1 port from the 360 . Final Fantasy, i imagine , would be imensley difficult to port on to the Wii . As far as I understand the technologies used to develop the PS3 version are also suited to 360 development/porting.

Immensely difficult? Like sc94597 said, Squeenix is already working on bringing the Crystal Tools engine to the Wii. A port can't be that hard.
The question is whether it's really worth bringing it to the Wii or not. Ever since FF VII, the cornerstone of the Final Fantasy franchise has been fancy CG cinematics. Is the Wii userbase really going to be receptive to such a game? Nintendo won't be giving out any moneyhats for it, either.
Would Squeenix really twist the knife in Sony's back by releasing this game on the dominant Japanese console?
