I don't want to repeat what others said, so here were the week #1 sales for Guitar Hero 3 last fall: (http://vgchartz.com/aweekly.php?date=39390&console=&maker=&boxartz=1)

1 Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (360)
Activision 1 658,671 658,671
2 Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (PS2)
Activision 1 454,596 454,596
3 Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (Wii)
Activision 1 271,053 271,053

Current American totals for GH3:

1 Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (PS2)
Activision 3,312,641
2 Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (360)
Activision 2,522,705
3 Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (Wii)
Activision 2,326,271

360 sales are always heavily front-loaded. 360 sales for Guitar Hero 3 even managed to outdo PS2 sales in the first week, and the PS2 version went on to sell 800k more units overall.

If anything, GH Aerosmith demonstrates the opposite point, how much ground the Wii has caught up relative to the 360 in the past nine months.

Hey, take your precious "numbers" and "logic" out of this thread. We don't like their kind here, not when they stop us from making a BS point!

Do I need to point out that the install base now is nowhere the same as it was when GH3 came out ?

What's illogical about pointing out that a platform with a bigger install base and 4x bigger weekly hardware sales sold 30% less software on the first week of the biggest crossplatform title so far this gen ? ( GH3 wasn't released on all platforms at the same date).

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !
