It's a core game - this wont end well - but lets see.

Core audience markers (that may like FPS) since the wii started would go like this

Launch date - 2 million people

Red Steel - 1 million

Battalion Wars 2 - 800k

No More Heroes - 400k

Install Base is now about 27 million

It's safe to assume all those people who bought Wii's bought them to play video games. The point would be how many of those Wii owners know about "The Conduit", how many of them like FPS's, how many of them are interested in "The Conduit" and how many of them are on VGC.

Judging by how the internet crashed for a second for the FFXIII announcement I'd say that this game is getting the right ammount of publicity.

Microsoft forums didn't flood for Gears 2... though there are tuns of topics on it.

With the western hype for this game, it should hit at least 500k ltd in the US, which would more than likely cover development. Though this game will fail in Japan and others or just struggle - unless they can market it as fun then maybe the superficial American motif can be overlooked and Ford can be seen as an every mans man doing what he can to get the job done and done right.

Then again who can pass up 24 player online.

(Btw anything over 32 is overkill and hasn't been done right to my knowledge yet.)

Oh wait, I saw the E3 video and the textures looked amazing on the buildings and the street.
