G4? really? that is your support? |
Considering your support is one guys opinion, who writes articles for yahoo, then I'd say yeah, G4 holds a little more sway than him.
As far as big announcements go, there was only one. FFXIII coming to 360. The PS3 lost an exclusive. Doesn't mean much to gamers, but it does to fanboys, as can been seen from yesterdays posts. It also means a lot to 360 owners.
So, let me ask you this? Do you think 360 owners would rather have all of those big game announcements Sony made(all one of them), or would they rather have FFXIII come to the 360 so they don't have to pay 700 dollars to play it?
Now let me ask you. Who walked away from their press conference happier? Sony fans, with a repeat of last years games, and a couple of leak confirmations? Or Microsoft fans who can soon play Final Fantasy XIII on the 360, something that they never expected or even hoped for in their wildest dreams?
Now, tell me, how exactly was Sony's performance so much better than Microsoft that they obviously won?
Don't you think all the press conferences were a little dissapointing, except for the FFXIII announcement?
What was the biggest announcement of the show?
On a scale of 1 - 10, how big was FFXIII and how big was GoW3?
Why am I constantly having to analize things for other people?
Even if you completely marginalize the FFXIII announcement, and say "E3 is about the games, not the news" then I still can't see how anyone could actually decide on a clear cut winner between Sony and Microsoft. Those lineups are interchangable, and most, if not all of those vignettes we coulda watched on gametrailers for at least a month before E3 started.
What I predicted is Sony would show the same games it's shown for the last 2 E3's and just like the last 2 E3's, Sony fanboys would claim Sony won, despite the megaton dropped by Microsoft at its press conferenece that was one of the biggest announcements ever on the internet, and crashed virtually every gaming site on the planet.
How in gods name can anyone call Sony a clearcut winner? You answer me that, and I wanna hear your best talking points, because I'm not joking. I want you to tell me. How and why do you think Sony won, exactly, without generalizing? What new announcements will make people want to own a Playstation 3 instead of an Xbox 360? What was Sony's epic win? Post a pic of it, please.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.
