@mrstickball,

Just like the PS3 got 90% of GTAIV sales, right?
GTA is Action game, FF is an RPG.
RPGs DON`T sell on x360.

Again why would anyone prefer x360 version over PS3?

a) 1 Blu-ray disc instead of 6-10 dvds(there will be a LOT CGI cutscenes at 720p).
b) HDD in every model, which will allow NO loading times instead of NOISY dvd and long donwloading(hi LO) + texture pop-ups(hi ME).
c) Reliable HW on which you will be able to play the game after 5 years instead RROD fear.
d) Used controls vs different one.

I mean, WHY to chose x360 version???
By the time of FFXIII release, PS3 probably will catch x360 in NA or be just by 10-20% behind.

Console Japan PAL US Total
Playstation 3 3,500,000 2,700,000 2,800,000 9,000,000
Xbox 360 0,000 350,000 650,000 1,000,000

And what kind of games are selling well on the PS3 again? Valkyrie of the Battlefield and Disgaea underwhelmed in Japan on the PS3. So if RPGs don't sell on the 360, neither do they on the PS3.Crazzy, it's not a matter of which console people prefer to play XIII on, it's which one they actually own - if a Xbox 360 owner desperately wanted XIII, they would of had to buy a PS3. Now they don't.

No Xbox 360 owner is going to jump ship and spend $400-odd dollars on a Playstation 3 for a few minor advantages.

a) Unless XIII comes on 2 BR-DVDs, the Xbox 360 version will not be over 5 discs, I guarentee it.

b) No loading times on the X360 if you download the game to HDD (and voids argument a)

c) Last I checked, 80gb PS3s have the same fail rate as Falcons

d) I don't understand? The Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 controllers are mapped the same way, your going to get the same friggin' thing.

Why chose the X360 version? Again, if you own an Xbox 360, and want XIII, you won't buy a PS3 for it. You'll buy the 360 version and save $400. And 2 other things:

a) At a minimum, Lost Odyssey was, and is a primer for XIII's debut in the West. Lost Odyssey has sold over 640,000 copies in NA and PAL.

b) Why is XIII going to be the best selling RPG in the history of the world again?

Your predicting that global lifetime sales will be above VII, double that of XII, sell more copies in Japan than even Dragon Quest VIII, and the PS3 version alone will rank just below VII in terms of console-specific sales. Crazzy, you should sell the crack cocaine that your smoking, because your trippin'

Oh, and the reason I have XIII sales for the 360 in Japan: It's a what-if scenario that XIII gets released there, eventually. Of course, if you feel it won't, then subtract it. But I tend to think that with Microsoft cozying up to S-E as of late, that we might see the dagger plunge further into S-E's vault of games.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
