actually Sony is the one who should be 50/50 between casual and hardcore. Look at the games on the PSN for example. fl0w, Flower, Super StarDust HD, High Velocity Bowling, the PixelJunk series, Pain, Elefunk, etc. Even on the direct console you have HOME, SingStar, Buzz, and LBP. Sony, and formally Nintendo, are the kings of multi-genre games that fit both casual and hardcore. Nini might have fallen to releasing a hardcore bone every once in a while but Sony has show that it has enough developers making both types of games that the can encompass the entire gaming audience.
