No. It's justified. Not ONE core game announced. I'm fine with unlimited amounts of casual games as long as they don't stop the single-player long adventure titles.
Here's a list of games they could have done.
I would have been happy with one of:

2D Metroid for DS
Mario RPG for Wii
3D Pokemon for Wii that doesn't suck
Smash Bros. DS
F-Zero for Wii
Pikmin for Wii
Kirby for Wii
Yoshi's Story sequel for Wii that doesn't suck
Luigi's Mansion sequel for Wii
Punch Out!! for Wii
