Hence, this idea would probably be more credible and less fishy if brought forth by someone who has no prior bans and therefore is most likely not planning something directly following this request.

I do understand that, but as someone that just witnessed a modeator trolling a topic himself, maybe we should just understand that many of us may go a little further than we usually do and the mods shouldn't compensate by handing out lots of bans while E3 is going on. I've already seen so much trolling that a third of this site should be banned already, so I'm guessing either the mods are under staffed right now, or are doing exactly as I suggested. Would you not give your child some leeway on Halloween to eat more chocolate? Would you not give them permission to stay up later on Christmas to play with gifts? Rules can be bent for a holiday, and E3 is our gaming holiday each year.
