US and EU gamers have always gotten screwed when it comes to the Final Fantasy release dates. Even after we started getting every game in the series from FFVI on. We always managed to get the game 6 to 9 months later.

 

From the looks of the Kotaku interview it seems as though the US PS3 version will be done and then held off to wait for the 360 version to be done as well.

Why must PS3 owners wait for the 360 version? Why not release it when it is ready?

Sony better throw some money to SE and have that released as a timed exclusive. I am getting tired of waiting for this damn game.

2010 confirmed?

Every since the game was delayed to 2009 it was practically 2010 confirmed for the west. As I've said before, SE takes for ever to localize the western versions of Final Fantasy. If the game hits the west more than 9 months after the Japanese versions release, then it you can say it was delayed by the 360 version.
