Your numbers are way too high ...
The PSP sold 402,194 Units in Japan, 1,459,561 in North America and 1,115,237 which (in total) is just under 3 Milllion units. The PSP was selling (for most of 2006) at about twice the rate the PS3 is currently selling at and has continued at that pace in 2007 ..
