I only own the Wii, I LOVE IT and yet I totally totally agree with you!!!!!!!!

 

I kind've agree as well.  When the Wii's controls were first shown off, I actually expected 1:1 controls.

When I got the Wii, I discovered they were far from 1:1.

I still love it, though. :P
