I think this will be really fun for whatever they decide to use it in, but don't blow this out of proportion. They aren't going to make this the new Wiimote, and they aren't going to support this in every game. They are going to package it with a game, and then have future games support it or not. It's not the replacement to the Wiimote, but a new way to use it for some games.

We don't know that yet, it could work with existing games too if, as a previous post has suggested, it will work with existing coding. We'll just have to wait and see.

We don't know that, but it's the most reasonable speculation.  Both sides are blowing this out of proportion.

I see this as the Wii's rumble pack.  Now remember, the rumble pack was a BIG DEAL for the N64, and absolutely sold systems and set a new standard for what should be in a controller, but it wasn't required, and it wasn't included in every game.  This will enhance the experience for those who buy it, but it's not the new Wiimote.  Just a way to enhance the experience.  Any game that requires it will have it packed in I'm sure.
