I think it's pretty clear that he meant home consoles as handhelds wouldn't apply to "controlling the living room," but even then....

The PS1 sold 106 million units, not 70 million, so even by that standard, Sony has still sold more consoles in the last ten years. 16 million more, to be exact.

I was replying to the statement "Sony has sold more gaming systems then anyone else over the last 10 years", so I lined up all the gaming systems Sony and Nintendo have been selling since early 1998. Sure, Sony did not have a handheld line before 2004. That's one of the reasons why they don't dominate the living room.

Also, I'd like to know where you got that 106m number, because I see 102.49m.  And did you really think that the Game Boy had only sold 53m?
