I agree with the two Christmas argument. This holiday season is really only important in the USA. Japan is all but locked for Nintendo this generation at this point. In Europe things are much more complicated, so it isn't like this is the make or break year for PS3. But remember - 360 will be at the 3rd Xmas in Europe this December and it has not really taken off, Wii will be on it's 2nd Xmas in Europe (so this xmas may be critical for Wii worldwide), but PS3 will only be in it's first Xmas in Europe.
