Wow a war of opinion.

Let's see... wow I'm pulling up nothing, good job guys... so what's the point? To get the other to like the game you like more than the game they like?

FFTA has a very deep story but how it's arrived at seems a bit shallow, though not perfect bashing it's story shows ignorance, in fact FFTA story had a great effect on FFXII's story - where do you think Judges came from?

FFT to me had an amazing story, though shallow on delivery at points it still had an intense and dramatic story, The only game where I got pissed off at the end as Delita sends you on a while goose chase while he captures a kingdom and you kill a god which ties into the Ancient king story of FFXII very well.

So FFTA's story was very childish and some people admitt to not playing anymore after the snowball fight - it doesn't bring anything new to the table other than restrictive races (which sucks) and FFTA2 kind of kills the groove some more with the shift to getting exp and job points after the battle.

But such is the way things are - people always believe the previous game is better than the succesor. But trying to change each others opinion is kind of perplexing.

I just like to debate. That and i'm always willing to change my mind when someone can actually bring up things that can change my mind.  I also like to see what people are thinking.  Though rarely do people go into actual depth about these things when argueing for some reason.  Rather then just saying... like Ajax does "It was better!  I like it better!"

Also, i'd say restrictive races were a good thing as it opened up more options, and the classes were balanced better. I'd add in the rules which made you play strategically and develop a nice well rounded team vs FFT where you just made a few mathmeticians or dancers and ruled over all....

Or once you got TG Cid let him solo the rest of the game.
