Actually, they shoulda started with a Wii game, or a few Wii games to build up capital, then moved into a PS3/360/PC single player FPS or two, building reputation and excitement, while quietly in the background working on more Wii games, DS games, and Hellgate London. Eventually, when WoW does down, and a serious amount of time after D3 comes out, then, and only then, do you launch your polished MMO.
Of course, lol, hindsight's 20/20.
