| stof said: One more thing. This is the list of Nintendo's best sellers on the gamecube
Now it looks like within 2 years Nintendo will have given the Wii what it gave the Gamecube during its entire run. So far all we haven't heard anouncements for new Pikman, Starfox, Luigi's Mansion, Mario Tennis, Mario Golf or Kirby games. So the Wii is outdoing the Gamecube in terms of traditional major games... The fact that they're reaching out to new gamers as well is a good thing, not a bad thing. |
I'm going to quote this for emphasis, even though I've already said it 5 times. Only 6 games on the top 20 all time best selling Gamecube list do not have sequels released or announced for the Wii. Of those, several can be assumed to be in production (click the Pikmin link above for evidence). This was over the entire life span of the Gamecube, and we're still 8 months into the lifespan of the Wii.
What more do people want? They seem to be churning out the hardcore titles as fast -- or even faster -- than ever before.http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a324/Arkives/Disccopy.jpg%5B/IMG%5D">
