I'm talking about backwards compatibility, which in itself shows that, that console will support the games of it's predacessor. The core that were on the Xbox could easily buy an Xbox360 and have their plethora of games still accesible.
Microsoft did two things to shun it's core - Discontinued support of the Xbox and No backwards compatibility. That's turning your back on the core group - the guys who like the values you set.
I'm not making anything new up here by the way, back in 2005 he internet was inflammed with this stuff - "Only Halo 2 has backwards compatibility!?"
