I really wouldn't expect ED 2 announced at E3, in fact the only thing that could make it coming would be that Silicon Knights joins Nintendo again. Now that Nintendo doesn't have the developers of the original anymore, I can't see a reason for them to release a sequel since the original didn't have great sales, and Nintendo has enough other franchises they can develop sequels for.
