This topic is just ill conceived. S-E didn't just whip these games together that fast. How would they have known FFXIII would take so long, they would have time to make a whole bunch of games to fund it? They would rather the game gets completed sooner, and take up even more development costs.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
