Nintendo won to the Mainstream because of Wii Fit. It was easily the biggest announcement to come out of E3 last year. And that's what the mainstream looks for. Collosal announcements. It was the only one made. It was enough to put Nintendo into a strong E3 but not as strong as Sony's. Like you I watched all 3 and ALL WERE BORING. I mean E3 2006 was fun to watch, but 2007 was a borefest. But Sony won for the simple reason as they showed off more, which is what E3 is for. AT least to the hardcore. Showing off lots of new things, and that's what Sony did. I mean I know we had to suffere with the awful PR throughout that entire show, but Sony won because they showed off a lot. Nintendo came in second because they did show some things that were new and Wii Fit. MS came in last because they showed NOTHING NEW.

I bolded the sentence that says we're saying the same thing. I'm simply saying that the snobcore aren't particularly relevant, and certainly not as important as the 99% of the population who aren't counted in their little club. Since that 99% liked Nintendo's E3 the best (It was a huge article in Time Magazine, for crying out loud!), then it follows that Nintendo "won." Personal tastes may vary of course, as they always have and always will.
